Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Facilities Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located **on site** in El Segundo, CA.
**Essential Functions:**
Plans, designs and coordinates the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of infrastructure and production equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities
Interact will all levels of the organization and external representatives
Strong oral and written communication skills
Interpret building and utility drawings and make the revisions as required
Develop and update Preventive and Predictive maintenance initiatives
Develop short and long term corrective actions for existing and/or repeating issues
Develop energy conservation initiatives, cost improvements and efficiency improvements
Have applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project) and AutoCAD capabilities
**Basic Qualifications:**
Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Architecture/Construction with 5 years experience of project management, construction management or related facilities experience
OR 3 years of experience with a Master's Degree
OR 0 years of experience with a PhD
Experience with design contracts and design reviews
Ability to review and comprehend construction drawings and specifications
Ability to apply Microsoft Office software applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Experience supporting a large Manufacturing Facility
Demonstrated knowledge of California Code and Regulatory requirements
Experience with Building Management System
Experience using a CMMS, i.e., Maintenance Connection
Experience using BIM Software - Revit
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $92,200.00 - $138,400.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
