The Team

The Business Development department is the strategy and transformation function for TH Global/PVH Europe and its brands Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein as well as the home of the Program Management Office. This role will be within the PMO function of Business Development. In this capacity, the department supports the TH Global/PVH Europe management in standardizing and governance around project methodologies and facilitating multi-stakeholder programs throughout the entire business.

The Position

Reporting to Director Program Management Office (PMO), the Senior Project Specialist is responsible for the execution of the PMO's key responsibilities that drive our projects' efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance. Adding to the team’s problem solving, analytics, project and stakeholder management, and ensuring the highest quality of work are essential elements of this role.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Program/Project Management

  • Coordination of Vision 20.25 Transformation Office, and other major strategic programs.

  • Assist the execution of programs and projects that require coordination with global cross-functional teams to ensure timelines are maintained & milestones are achieved.

  • Draw connections between initiatives and ask to determine synergies and priorities.

  • Articulate vision and socialize with stakeholders.

  • Manage project development and stakeholder buy-in from initiation through closure.

  • Create and maintain project plans and manage project deliverables including RACI, resource needs, scope, budget, timelines, interdependencies, enablers, risks, etc.

  • Manage scope and resolve issues throughout the project life cycle

  • Determine how project results will be measured.

  • Be accountable for project results along with Project Owner.

  • Drive adoption of P3MO best practices, and encourage reuse of established templates and procedures.

  • Keep up to date on digital tools and best practices for project management.

Communication

  • Create leadership communications to share status, escalate roadblocks, and relay progress.

  • Create associate-wide communication on major strategic programs.

  • Clearly communicate expectations to stakeholders and team members.

  • Facilitate milestone meetings and other meetings critical to the progress of projects.

  • Track and report on business milestones and provide status reports to sponsors.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2-3 years in consulting or project management experience with an increasing level of responsibility.

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.

  • Self-motivated with strong influence leadership and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to influence others cross-functionally including senior leadership.

  • Excellent facilitation, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Effective at crafting presentation messaging, format, and flow

  • Excellent, articulate, and detailed communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Strong ability to maintain poise and encourage a positive outlook during times of rapid change and uncertainty.

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Strongly Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, MS Project, and Asana.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
