Key Skills: Data Engineering/Analysis, Capital Markets, Trading Life Cycle, Banking Compliance Job Description: Organize and lead companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes. Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements. Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues. Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality. Adhere to data governance standards and procedures. Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data. Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members. Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy. Serve as relationship manager for a line of business. Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility. Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies. Partner with groups and various levels of seniority companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution. Required Qualifications: 5 plus years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Trade Surveillance Technical Analyst role will be responsible for assisting with the technology planning, delivery and embedding of a new third-party Trade Surveillance solution in US/EMEA. The successful candidate will be able to leverage their expertise with relevant international regulations such as MAD/MAR and the regulatory environment within capital markets. The candidate should have broad experience in technology delivery, ideally including the implementation of third-party and cloud-hosted solutions. The role will also cover tactical enhancements to existing solutions and rationalization of the trade surveillance estate, there may also be opportunities to work across other surveillance solutions. The position will form part of Data Engineering team working with the local Compliance function and within a global technology team, largely based in the US. The candidate will be expected to contribute to vendor management and liaise with vendor staff located in the US and UK. The scope of this role will be focused on EMEA deployment but the system will be rolled out globally and so the role will also require to understand and factor in global requirements. The candidate will be required to ensure that the project complies with all company policies regarding the management of third-party solutions, Information Security and the Software Development Lifecycle. The candidate should have strong experience working in an Agile environment and have excellent business analysis, communication, and organizational skills. The role will require strategic design and mapping of business requirements and solutions to system/technical requirements. Required: Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Project Management Broad experience in technology delivery Expertise with relevant international regulations such as MAD/MAR and the regulatory environment within capital markets Banking, Compliance experience and good understanding of Trade Life cycle Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Nice to have: Writing complex SQL queries & understanding of DBs like Oracle, SQL & big data platforms Implementation of third-party and cloud-hosted solutions
