The Team 

Our newly built PVH Campus is located in the Houthavens area of Amsterdam, and was opened in 2018. The buildings unify all departments into a single, centralized location to consolidate operations, increase efficiencies and foster a family spirit. The campus is designed to stimulate innovation, teamwork, and collaboration, and to support further company growth.

The Campus consists of three state-of-the-art buildings and is approximately 40,000 m2 in size. The location boasts offices/showrooms /People¹s Place Cafes, and is home to 2,000 Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein & PVH associates.

The Campus is run by the Facilities Department, consisting of 4 teams: Hospitality, Operations, Parcel Management, and Projects & Workplace Management. The team is 32 people strong and is supplemented by additional outsourced security, reception, and cleaning personnel. The department’s goal is to provide consistent quality and excellent service to all associates and guests by offering a one-of-a-kind workplace experience. Within the scope, the department takes care of office refits, furniture portfolio, moving services, maintenance, security, office supplies, and parcel management services.

The Position  

PVH Facilities is looking for a Building Project Manager responsible for the execution of all building-related projects at our Amsterdam locations. The Building Project Manager will be operating as the lead in various building-focused projects that will support the Facilities and other stakeholders (such as Showrooms, Studio’s, PVH Hospitality) within the business to reach our company goals. As an expert in Construction Management, the Building Project Manager acts as an advisor on all building-related queries. The overall aim is to optimize the operations/setup of our campus buildings in the most optimal way and in alignment with the latest business developments.

The Building Project Manager reports to the Senior Manager Projects & Workplace Management. The Workplace & Projects team consists of two Project managers and one Campus Experience Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Overseeing all construction-related projects for our Amsterdam locations from start to end (RFP, project planning, communication, logistics, and execution of build projects).

• The works include but are not limited to, office refits, alterations of our Showrooms, building changes in our PVH Studio’s, and implementation of new office innovations.

• Reporting project successes, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.

• Managing our vendors through QBR’s. Make sure our vendors comply with PVH policies and procedures and are performing in line with our standards.

• Maintaining all architectural drawings for our Amsterdam offices. Make sure the B, E & W-drawings are up-to-date and include the latest revision drawings.

• Administration and file management. Retrieving up-to-date drawings from suppliers and/or updating files based on construction drawings of my own. Quotes, comparisons.

• Drafting, submitting, and maintaining budget on a project level and following best practice financial procedures, creating purchase orders.

• Execute regular Fire Safety and Building Regulations checks for all buildings. Make sure we are in compliance with the regulations, and in alignment with the Security Manager and the Senior Maintenance Manager within Facilities.

• Create and maintain a building materials and supplier overview.

• Drive sustainable innovation in the execution of construction projects, i.e. reuse materials, use sustainable materials and equipment/systems.

• Climate cool: potentially participate in one of the task forces we have in place. Data and energy taskforce or Building design taskforce.

The Ideal Candidate: 

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture or similar.

• Dutch native is a plus.

• Strong demonstrable project management experience.

• Proven experience in Building Project Management.

• Affinity with and experience in the field of office refits.

• Able to work independently, within set perimeters.

• Accurate in budgeting.

• Strong eye for detail.

• Solid stakeholder & people management skills.

• Able to adapt project scope to a fast-changing environment.

• Experience in AutoCAD and/or Sketchup is a plus.
