What You Will Achieve
As a member of the Pfizer team, your role will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing engineering projects and serve as liaison between project engineers and planning, project team and line management. In your role, you will review the status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepares status reports. You and your team will assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

How You Will Achieve It
Contribute to the completion of project tasks and/or milestones.
Assist with development and routing of electronic capital funding requests (eCPAs).
Facilitate requests for release of Contingency funding.
Initiate and maintain vendor qualification documentation.
Maintain purchase order tracking logs and issue accrual guidance.
Provide follow up with suppliers to assure timely deliveries or be aware of delays that may impact project schedule.
Resolve discrepancies in POs, between financial systems and with other enabling groups including finance and procurement.
Maintain cost spreadsheets on all assigned projects and assist the Project Managers in accurate assessment of project status and forecasting, project fund dates, project closure dates and other critical project information.
Administer Project Engineering’s SharePoint site.
Maintain all forms for Project Engineering.
Complete documentation to confirm compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) when dealing with suppliers outside the US.
Work closely with all suppliers, vendors and Procurement on all capital purchases.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelor’s Degree.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical and organization skills, capacity to quickly identify problems and structure solutions.
Nice-to-Have
Experience preferred as a financial analyst, accountant, administrative assistant, or other project supporting role.
Experience with project management and/or systems, such as Ariba, SAP.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Use computer terminal multiple hours per shift, respond to visual warning indicators, respond to audible warning indicators, respond to color or special visual indicators, use powered material handling equipment, work around moving equipment, wear specialized protective clothing, wear PPE (safety shoes/glasses, etc.) work in hot or cold environment, work in hearing conservation area, work with potent drug powders.
Walking, climbing stairs, climbing ladders/walking on catwalks, work on knees occasionally, repetitive use of upper extremities
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Non-standard work schedule would be required at times for equipment installation and facility construction work. Travel may be required for site visits, vendor visits, design reviews, and FATs.
