Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Cassandra/No-SQL database administrator with Extensive experience in supporting infrastructure setup with Unix shell / Python Scripting and exposure to any of the cloud technology (AWS / Google ) -GCP mandatory
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Johns Creek, GA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position will NOT require any travel outside of base location.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

At least 4 years of experience of Information Technology experience.
At least 4 years of experience as a DBA.
Experience on Designing, Planning, Administration, Installation, Configuring, Troubleshooting, Performance monitoring and Fine-tuning of Cassandra cluster (Datastax DSE 5.n and above versions)
A least 2 years of experience working with AWS/ Google Cloud.
Experience in working with Splunk or Prometheus for Monitoring.
Should have good scripting experience with Shell, Python or Ruby.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with project management.
Knowledge on Devops Tools (CD/CI) like Chef, Jenkins, Git.
Working knowledge of Spinnaker is helpful (but not mandatory)
Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.
Planning and Co-ordination skills.
Good Communication and Analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and interpret business and technical documents
Perform Root Cause Analysis of Critical incidents.
Minimum 3 years hands on experience with infrastructure provisioning using required tools
