Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Technical Project Manager. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical and project management proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Project Delivery Management, Application technical inputs. You will play an important role in creating and tracking product delivery and enhancement release roadmap. You will work closely with technical architects, team leads and product owners, interface with customer stakeholders and take ownership of Infosys delivery scope and service levels. You will also support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty, coordinating with the extended Infosys delivery team. Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Jacksonville, Florida or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
7 years of .Net technology experience.
5 years of project management experience.
Strong skills in C#, ASP.NET, Application development with SQL Server 2008 / 2012.
Appreciate and work with architects to co-envision technology solutions for complex business problems, requiring familiarity with architectural and software engineering principles, and providing strong technical and project governance leadership in Multi-tier application development and support.
Perform tracking of program objectives and issues pipeline to closure.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of .Net 6 (C#) architectural Standards and Frameworks, including exposure to .NET modernization programs.
Knowledge and awareness of the latest trends in Web technologies (such as Blazor / React)
To work with the business analyst team for clarification of requirements; work with technical delivery team constructing an efficient and cost-effective design that will meet the business requirements.
Prepare and share status reports with stakeholders, tailoring content to meet audience needs.
Tracking and ensuring service levels are met or exceeded.
To work with Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure that implementations are of desired quality.
To ensure that development is highly strategic and focused on maintaining the reliability and functionality that is essential to both internal and external constituents.
To participate in development and support lifecycle processes including release management and problem management.
To ensure completion, delivery, and quality of development items for given release schedule.
Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies (initiation, execution, and closure).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
