GENERAL SUMMARY: The Senior Learning and Development Specialist collaborates with others to design, develop, deliver and maintain blended learning resources, primarily for the field. This role requires a passion for learning and the ability to manage multiple projects while optimizing resources to create best in class learning and development solutions.
REPORTS TO: Manager, Designer Brands Learning & Development
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Partners across the business to understand learning and development needs *Assesses performance gaps, analyzes learning needs, designs and develops customer-centric solutions, and evaluates effectiveness *Performs instructional design that is engaging, relevant, and leverages adult learning theory *Develops and/or procures content to incorporate into instructional design (eLearning, in-person, virtual instructor-led, self-paced) *Independently manages projects engaging cross-functional stakeholders, driving alignment, change, action, and integration into existing learning programs *Leads maintenance and updating of existing learning programs *Serves as a Learning Management System administrator, providing support of the day-to-day LMS operations, issue resolution, maintenance, usage, analysis and administration *Facilitates learning and development offerings for both in-person and virtual training, including but not limited to onboarding, individual contributor competency development, etc. *Exhibits DBI competencies and values, partnering with the Learning & Development team and the business to support DBI's mission, vision, and strategies

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
*4-5 years of experience in instructional design using the ADDIE and/or AGILE model *4-5 years experience leading training/facilitation *2-3 years experience with project management and change management related to learning *Working knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS) or Human Resource Information System (HRIS) or Human Capital Management system (HCM) *Microsoft Office, intermediate

*4-year college degree preferred
