The Role:

This role is accountable for establishing and maintaining project management best practices at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. as well as serving as cross-functional project manager. The ideal candidate has the ability to lead and motivate people, encourage teamwork, an ability to communicate effectively with senior management and external partners, and a clear vision of what defines a successful project management process for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the project management process to be applied to cross-functional projects and programs.
  • rnt
  • Lead cross-functional core teams in achieving project objectives- ensure cross-functional thinking and appropriate analytical rigor in the development of project team strategies
  • rnt
  • Analyze risk and implement risk management strategies. Establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating corrective action.

  • Maintains program-level project plan
  • rnt
  • Track actual performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives.
  • rnt
  • Drive preparation of Governance Board deliverables and ensure implementation of Governance Board decisions

  • Keep all stakeholders informed of progress and issues.
  • rnt
  • Establish and publish clear priorities among project activities.

  • Coach department project managers on project management best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, advanced degree is a plus. MBA preferred.

  • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, Oncology experience is a plus
  • rnt
  • Regulatory Submission and CMC experience; Global experience with all phases of drug development
  • rnt
  • Strong influencing skills: proven ability to get things done without formal authority.
  • rnt
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct, and timely communication and proven ability to foster important relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • rnt
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical and nonclinical drug development required
  • rnt
  • Past experience in a functional supervisory role
  • rnt
  • Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, with proven ability to work independently.
  • rnt
  • Experience in a commercial pharmaceutical company environment is a plus

  • Flexible schedule to accommodate regular Telecons with partners
