The Team

Our newly built PVH Campus in located in the Houthavens area of Amsterdam, and was opened in 2018.  The buildings unify all departments into a single, centralized location to consolidate operations, increase efficiencies and foster a family spirit. The campus is designed to stimulate innovation, teamwork and collaboration, and support further company growth.

The Campus consists of three state-of-the-art buildings and is approximately 40,000 m2 in size. The location boasts offices / showrooms /People¹s Place Cafes, and is home to 2,000 Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein & PVH associates.

The Campus is run by the Facilities Department, consisting of 4 teams: Hospitality, Operations, Parcel Management and Projects & Workplace Management. The team is 32 people strong, and is supplemented by additional outsourced security, reception and cleaning personnel. The department’s goal is to provide consistent quality and excellent service to all associates and guests by offering a one of a kind workplace experience. Within the scope the department takes care of office refits, furniture portfolio, moving services, maintenance, security, office supplies and parcel management services.

The Position  

PVH Facilities is looking for an all-round Project Manager responsible for rolling out several projects, with a strong focus on Workplace Management. The Project Manager will be operating as lead in various projects and programs that will support the Facilities and other department(s) within the business to reach our company goals, while optimizing the operations of our campus buildings in the most optimal way.

The Project Manager reports into the Senior Manager Projects & Workplace Management. The Workplace & Projects team consists of two Project managers, one Campus coordinator and one Project Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Workplace development

  • Maintaining and developing PVH Smart Office Workplace plan (supporting the Hybrid work model, based on Activity Based Workstyle).

  • Managing the roll out of the PVH Smart Office Workplace plan by driving the implementation of state-of-the-art digital workplace solutions (such as Mapiq pilot / Office shifts).

  • Acting as first point of contact for day to day business needs with regards to Workplace. Receive, map and assess requests and determine if these can be executed against the existing Workplace budget.

  • Project management of construction works where needed. Full scope of project management of contractors for the execution of these works in the office.

  • Responsible for creation and maintenance a Workplace Handbook which captures the various elements of the office setup for PVH Europe in Amsterdam. This handbook will need to be adjusted on a quarterly basis so it is in line with the situation as is.

  • Ongoingly conduct research on new Workplace innovations. Visit seminars and fairs to get insights in the latest trends and developments.

  • Managing implementation of Workplace related software packages (Booking tool, Space Management etc.).

Project Management

  • Being able to lead projects on site with contractors and PVH associates.

  • Full project life cycle ownership, including: idea phase, design, financing, planning, execution, after care and review.

  • Manage all aspects related to projects including; communication to management, clients and vendors.

  • Prepare project estimates, follow best practice financial procedures, create purchase orders.

  • Report project success, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies and risks.

  • Be able to adapt project scope to a fast-changing environment.

Furniture Management

  • Fully responsible for the complete furniture portfolio of the PVH Campus, including maintaining furniture database, tracking usage, procuring new FF&E, move of furniture, and repair and maintenance of furniture.

  • Acting as single point of contact for Creative Services to improve Workplace Concept/Design based on business needs.

  • Liaise with HR on the provision of ARBO related furniture for associates with health issues.

  • Driving the departments sustainability objectives by reusing and repurposing existing furniture in the Amsterdam office and potentially other locations of PVH in Europe.

Move management

  • Fully responsible for all PVH Campus related moves, including resource management, communication, stakeholder management, planning and aftercare.

  • Executing multiple (large) office moves in Amsterdam offices to facilitate growth/decline of organization.

  • Responsible for management of our moving partner Hulshoff, including oversight of in- and outbound of storage, managing and optimizing operational costs and conducting QBRs to improve service levels.

  • Managing the operational costs linked to move management. Making sure these are within the set budget boundaries.

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role

  • Bachelor degree in Facility Management/Real Estate Management or similar

  • Professional level of the English language

  • Demonstrable project management experience

  • Affinity with and experience in the field of workplace management

  • Affinity with and willing to learn on implementation of IT driven workplace solutions

  • Able to work independently, within set perimeters

  • Accurate financial and fiscal awareness 

  • Experienced in the full scope of move management

  • Solid stakeholder & people management skills

  • Hunger to drive workplace development within a fast-paced organization

  • Able to shift between theoretical matters and day to day practical work

  • Solid experience in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

  • Experience to work with, or the willingness to learn, tools such as Asana, MS Teams, Coupa
