This position will support the Foundationu2019s growing Strategy, Learning and Evaluation Division (SLED) with the implementation of Strategy 2025.The Strategy Officer will play a pivotal role at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. Working in close partnership with SLED Director, Vice President of Strategy and Programs (VPSP), and other colleagues this role will provide strategic planning support and guidance, generate draft strategy memos and PowerPoint presentations, conduct landscapes, and design and facilitate strategy meetings. The Strategy Officer will work across the Foundationu2019s Initiatives and will report to the SLED Director.Responsibilitiesu00A0Strategy Support and Implementation Co-creating and implementing strategic processes for the 5-year plans for each Initiative. Facilitate change management through effective communication and relationship management. Serving as a thought partner to the SLED Director and staff (e.g., asking good strategic questions, identifying assumptions, testing theories of change.) Co-designing and facilitating working sessions among program staff and/or other participants (e.g., external experts, Committee members.) Generating and/or reviewing draft strategy documents (e.g., strategy memos, PowerPoint presentations). This will include reviewing coded data and supporting teams with coding. Conducting targeted research and analysis in support of program planning. Guiding the selection process for and co-managing third-party strategic planning consultants. Co-designing and co- managing the annual planning process across CNHF Initiatives, including collaborating with Program and Advocacy Officers to articulate goals and objectives that align with five-year strategic plans. Increasing the adaptive learning capacity of Foundation program staff and supporting a culture of learning and reflection. Support with the implementation of community feedback and equity plans. Supports collecting, coding and analyzing demographic grantee data. Misc. strategy and program department related lead.Communication and Collaboration Coordinates with Communications Department to advance Initiative strategies through strategic communications. Builds collaborative and positive working relationships and effective communication channels with team members and staff. Supports with the development and roll-out of new processes through collaboration with VP of Operations and Senior Program Strategy Officer. Supports with preparation for quarterly Program Committee and Board meetings.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in public health, public policy, social welfare, or a related field. (e.g., MBA, MPP). 7 years of experience in a professional setting, including 2 years of experience in a formal strategy consulting role and 2 years in a project management role. Demonstrated ability to convey complex information using supporting tables, graphs, and other visual representations. Experience working on strategy teams. Intellectual agility, including the ability to quickly understand new issues, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, spot patterns, and make connections across topics/issues. Proven ability to design and facilitate productive, engaging meetings. Ability to work in a self-guided manner and care for multiple priorities. Excited to work with diverse teams and across barriers such as language, culture and distance. Excellent listening skills and empathy.
