We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation’s biggest companies. Our client has a need for a Release Train Engineer / Project Manager. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Release Train Engineer / Project Manager
Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Release Train Engineer / Project Manager will include:
Release Train Engineer (Project Manager) responsible for guiding & facilitating the delivery of a project or series of projects through completion. - Ensures adherence to project goals, scope, objectives, deliverables, & requirements. - Maintains assigned project charters & creates & maintains timelines, resource requirements and budgetary needs. - Balances quality requirements with the stakeholder delivery timing & budgetary requirements. - Maintains project artifacts consistent with the expectations of the Program ManagerProduct Owner, utilizing agile processes & tools to ensure consistency across all project data. - Ensures project documentation is maintained, organized, and properly stored in accordance with organizational guidelines.
Partners with Portfolio Manager to be direct point of contact for stakeholders.
Maintains regular contact with stakeholders, development teams, Program Manager, Product Owners, Business Analyst and Scrum Master; communicating relevant project changes and status updates.
Escalates issues, impacts, impediments, blocks or change requests to all relevant parties.
Proposes contingency/containment plans when significant risk or blocks arise.
Captures meeting minutes & other project related data points consistent with team expectations
Release Train Engineer / Project Manager
Job Requirements
As a Release Train Engineer / Project Manager you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
2 years of experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, or similar field
Experience managing multiple tasks concurrently
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities, risks, and issues as they arise
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a group
Strong collaboration and communication skills, both written and oral, is essential
Experience working in Confluence, JIRA, JIRA Portfolio, or other Atlassian applications and technologies
Experience working in or administering Microsoft SharePoint
Education Required: Bachelors Degree
