About the job
This position is needed to
help the Phone Numbers Operations team expand Twilio product offerings into new countries as our business grows. As a Technical Project Manager, you will collect, analyze and use data to lead projects focused on operational readiness. You will be a meaningful member of Twilio’s Product, Growth, and Experience org and have a direct impact on reducing friction as our customers onboard to Twilio, allowing them to innovate, scale, and grow.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Build launch plans and direct a team of project partners through all phases of project management from initiation to closing.
Drive toward continuous improvement through analyzing data and making process improvement proposals.
Project leads international expansion to identify and remove bottlenecks; You will be responsible for meeting regular monthly and quarterly launch goals.
Lead regular audits of our existing product offerings to ensure we are in compliance with carrier and regulator requirements
Design dashboards for operational, financial, and system health metrics and service levels
Help to define and run the project roadmap (e.g., timing, sequencing, prioritization) to optimize for operational efficiency and customer happiness.

Required:
3 years experience handling technical projects in operations and/or data analytics. Your analysis and insights have helped a department to grow. Experience working on short code applications/porting/Sender ID applications is a plus.
Shown expertise prioritizing and implementing multiple projects simultaneously while keeping collaborators on track. You’re detailed and extremely organized.
Exceptional project management skills. Must be able to optimally plan, prioritize and drive projects to completion, including cross-functional teams over whom you do not have direct authority.
Technical aptitude to create compelling, relevant and actionable reports using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or a similar business intelligence tool. Extra points if you have experience with SQL.
Appetite and proclivity to dive deep into complicated processes and systems. You regularly apply the principles of operational excellence to optimize processes while improving quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity
Ability to build effective cross-functional working relationships and work through conflict
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired:
Experience with PMBOK, agile program management and scrum management
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Familiarity with localization tactics
Location
This role will be
remote, and based in Denver office.
Approximately
no travel is anticipated.
