Join the fast-paced, hands-on External Communications team at the Fortune 100 company and the nation’s leading consumer electronics retailer. As a member of the external communications team, you will work closely and collaboratively with leaders and colleagues throughout the organization to drive the business, manage reputation, and build brand love. This position will have the opportunity to work closely with national and local news outlets and create news-making opportunities.

This role lives within the broader Communications and Public Affairs team at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. As a member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and refine a variety of skills, including media relations, content creation, reputation management, building relationships and more. This role supports the external communications planning and execution for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Health.

What will you do?
Planning and execution of media relations strategies, including building new relationships with reporters, editors and producers, especially within Health trade media outlets. Role includes both proactive and reactive media relations
Find and create opportunities to build **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s reputation within the Health space, including managing speaking engagements for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Health leaders
Work collaboratively with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Health teams to find and tell **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Health stories that align with its three pillars, including quickly understanding topics and issues and how to translate them into stories
Work collaboratively with other members of the communications team, internally and externally, to align on the best strategies. This includes proactive stories as well as reactive statements and plans
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or 3 years equivalent in journalism, public relations, communications, marketing or related field
3 years writing and editing content for a variety of audiences and vehicles
3 years demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work and collaborate well with peers, managers and business partners while also working individually
3 years demonstrated sound judgment and knowledge of social media legal guidelines
Working knowledge of AP style
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare experience
3 years social media experience, including developing and implementing content across a variety of platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn and Twitter. Fluency in current best practices and emerging trends in social media
3 years professional writing/journalism/storytelling experience
1 years project management or editorial planning experience
1 years demonstrated detail oriented and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
2 years experience working with a retailer or other consumer-facing brand
Copy editing skills
This position will be located in Richfield, MN and will be in a hybrid work model 2-3 days per week on campus.
