Job Summary
Direct and coordinate the work of in-house teams and outside consultants in producing and maintaining prototypical construction documents. Coordinate the changes to the building, systems and equipment that are required due to cost, clarification, menu changes and code requirements as well as researching and identifying alternate details, finishes, fixtures and details. The Concept Design Manager possesses and applies knowledge of architectural principles, practices, and procedures and brings inconsistencies, problems and suggested solutions to the attention of the Restaurant Development team and works effectively with minimal supervision.
Your Key Job Functions
Manage the maintenance and evolution of the prototype construction documents, working with allied internal teams - Restaurant Development, Operations, Supply Chain and Marketing - and outside consultants to provide design and construction documents on new prototypes and specials.
Provide alternate materials, finishes and fixture specifications as required for cost, timing or availability needs.
Provide site plans, floor plans, samples, and drawings for Property Development’s use in permitting and landlord submittals.
Provide RFI documents for clarification of details at site-specific locations to the General Contractors representative.
Develop, distribute, and implement change memo’s and change lists. Help coordinate site specific implementation of change memos and change lists through the change matrix.
Franchise program support through concept architects, including communication of prototype construction documents and design standards in support of Franchise development.

What You Bring to the Team
4 year degree in Architectural related field. Architectural Registration or on track to registration preferred.
Knowledge of architectural and engineering systems.
Production of Construction Documents.
Computer literate to include AutoCAD, Adobe, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
Project management experience.
Prototype development and change management experience in restaurant construction documents preferred.
Highly organized multi-tasked oriented, excellent communication skills.
4 years’ experience in architectural firm or Restaurant Company.
