Project Manager - Security
Summary:
As part of the Cybersecurity team, the Sr Project Manager – Security will establish, implement, develop, and provide best-in-class practices for project management of the cybersecurity program. They will work with the cybersecurity management team and staff and IT PMO to ensure cybersecurity projects and program efforts are integrated with overall IT and ePMO planning and resourcing initiatives.
· Develop detailed project plans and measure performance of those plans using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
· Identify and assess risks and facilitate resolution to minimize project risks and will facilitate and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
· Develop project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
· Manage changes in project scope, schedule, resource availability, and costs.
· Ensures resource availability and allocation. Coordinate internal resources, 3rd parties and vendors for the flawless execution of projects. While ensuing the delivery of all projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
· Manage relationships with stakeholders, establish and maintain relationship with 3rd party vendors.
· Report and escalate issues wot management
· Administer projects on a day-to-day basis and verify that they produce the required deliverables of quality with the specified constraints of time and cost, and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.
· Lead teams to deliver projects that span one or more business untits and motivate team members to meet project goals while adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
· Manage issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery and contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.
Requirements:
Education: Minimum four-year degree or equivalent work experience. College degree p referred. Security experience or knowledge of security topics desired.
Experience: Minimum of seven years of experience working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment and an advanced working knowledge of project management software and methodologies including Waterfall and Agile principles including SCRUM.
Certifications preferred - CAPM, PMP, CSM, Six-Sigma green/black belt, or equivalent advanced training preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience communicating technical information to non-technical team members.
Supervisory: This is an individual contributor role and will not have direct reports. This role may direct others based on specific project needs.
Travel: Some travel may be required. Amount of travel will be determined by individual project requirements.
