SUMMARY
Arcticom, LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Cloud Data Center Project Manager for Log IT Modernized Portfolio contract at WPAFB. The Cloud Data Center Project Manager will be responsible for being the liaison for system migrations to the cloud with respect to understanding and improving the Cloud Data Center Operations and Processes, from developing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for migrated systems, to setting expectations and managing cloud service requests, prioritization and incident response, to managing Compute and Store (C&S) cost strategies. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Develop schedules, identify critical path dependencies, and maintain execution throughout the duration of partner programs
Coordinate the planning and scoping of the multiple projects with other program managers and technical leads
Analyze technology, best practices, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Liaise with management, cloud and related data center staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
Effectively communicate project statuses
Ensure project documents and regular updates are complete/current and available for program managers and leadership review
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)
Ten (10) years of technical infrastructure and/or systems engineering experience.
Seven (7) years of experience in all aspects of cloud computing (compute, storage, platforms, data and security, operations).
Proven track-record in implementing large scale cloud environments.
Hands on experience in cloud computing-based services architecture, technical design and implementations, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
Must possess or be able to attain a Federal government Public Trust background check; requires U.S. citizenship
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Knowledge of Cloud cost optimization techniques.
Knowledge of Direct Connect, Private Link, VPN and other Public Cloud connectivity solutions.
Thorough understanding of infrastructure automation, CI/CD, networking, storage, and cloud-based delivery models.
Knowledge in networking and web standards such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, web security & firewalls.
Experience in autoscaling, load balancing and DR cloud computing models.
Experience in SSO/Federation.
Knowledge of configuration management tools.
Knowledge of Cloud/Data Center management tools for incident management and customer service.
Thorough understanding of Cloud native, vendor agnostic & cloud ready app development.
Thorough understanding on Cloud Governance.
Knowledge in cloud monitoring tools, application performance monitoring tools and operational dashboarding.
Preferred
Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) for standardized IT processes and best practices for delivering IT services to customers.
Financial management, understanding and managing costs associated with delivery of IT services.
Strategy management, building and implementing the strategy for IT service offerings and what functionality needs to be built based on customer needs, and industry standards.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
