Where you fit in?
Shell Technology Centre Amsterdam (STCA) and the Energy transition
Over the coming decades, society will face a worldwide challenge. While society must emit fewer greenhouse gases, energy consumption will increase due to the growing world population and increasing prosperity. The pace of the energy transition will vary from country to country. In the Netherlands, it’s about the more efficient use of energy and access to cleaner energy. Shell's assets in the Netherlands are on their way to a lower footprint and the same goes for the Shell Technology Centre Amsterdam (STCA). The facility in the hearth of Amsterdam opens its doors and transforms into an open campus. Shell invites start-ups, scale-ups, research institutions and companies to move onto campus and work together on solutions for cleaner energy. The technology centre thus starts a new life with a new name: Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam (ETCA). So you’ll be working at ETCA one of the three largest Shell research centers worldwide. This is where new ideas, technology and decades of experience come together to meet the energy needs of today and tomorrow.”
