Responsibilities
Manage large dollar construction ventures from beginning to end
Schedule bid letting
Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations
Obtaining final permits and certifications, and preparing and collecting final waivers
Organize purchasing for projects by working with buyers and architects
Develop project plans, project scope, budget, time frame and project agenda
Approve contractual payments to subcontractors
Review the work progress on daily basis
Travel to job sites for inspections and project status reports 3-4 days per week
Manage entire construction project personnel
Qualifications
BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
Proficient in multi-family construction
Must be able to travel 3-4 days of week
Previous experience in multi-family mid-rise podium style construction strongly preferred
3-6 years of construction project management experience preferred
Experience in contract procurement and award
Experience managing people during large scale construction ventures
Ability to plan and see the big picture
