POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Project Manager, Corporate Technologies will help drive growth and make a positive contribution to the business and delivery teams with a primary focus on Global Corporate Technologies’ projects.  This role is responsible for project management, execution, and delivery of corporate applications projects, from inception to stabilization/steady state. He/she is responsible for participation in application design, analysis, development planning, integration planning, and enhancement activities, as well as related maintenance and support. The Project Manager is also expected to bring subject matter expertise and be responsible for business analysis activities, gathering requirements and supporting solutions design around corporate technologies in business areas such as HR, Audit & Risk Management and Legal

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: 

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders, end users and other members of the business, and IT teams to manage projects as well as gather and document requirements as needed.
  • Participate in full-cycle business analysis projects and solution review sessions. Understand systems and business objectives in order to resolve business issues
  • Translate requirements into functional specification document ensuring functional and business requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Document project, enhancements, and request requirements for all initiatives working with senior team members
  • Track project progress and provide updates to the business. Report business concerns to senior team members.
  • Provide support for the implementation and coordinate with testing teams to incorporate the established plans into testing processes
  • Work with senior team members to develop detailed testing scripts for team members to follow during testing of fixes and enhancements
  • As needed, work with and coordinate tasks with global teams located in multiple geographical locations/time zones
  • Ability to work independently and follow the SDLC process according to PVH standards; Work closely with the PVH PMO team to ensure requirements are being met
  • Manage multiple Global HR Integration projects working with internal IT and business teams as well as external vendors.
  • Position may require local travel between various locations and its affiliates
  • Position may require participating in meetings outside of normal business hours including occasional evenings and/or weekends.
  • Interfacing with testing teams to incorporate plans for automation
  • Preparing and presenting status updates for various projects

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional project teams to deliver corporate technology projects with a primary focus on HR applications like Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP and other corporate areas such as Audit & Risk Management, Legal etc.,
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience creating business requirement documents and coordinating testing with business and vendors.
  • Experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience with larger enterprises/SDLC processes.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and ability to lead project team(s) through influence
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior management and business stakeholders
  • Experience communicating and presenting technical concepts to non-technical audience
  • Experience with Agile Project Management methodologies and Product Management mindset.

Education:

College degree in programming/systems, computer science, or specialized training, certification, or equivalent work experience.

  • Understand business practices and project methodologies. Knowledge and experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization; Strong customer, quality, and results orientation.
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving ability, logic, and analytical skills
  • Self-starter and effective collaborator, showing high interest in systems and process improvement
  • Exhibit the ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and take full responsibility of deliverables
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Excel, Power point, Project, Word
