Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
Solution Specialists work as technical experts within an engagement team and are not responsible for project management. Key responsibilities will include:
The Anaplan Professional:
Will be responsible for design & development of Anaplan ModelsWill gather requirements, understand and plan user stories delivery and assess risks
Will be expected to translate spreadsheet models into optimized Anaplan multidimensionalmodels
Will be expected to play a pivotal role in all activities ranging from requirement gathering tillHypercare
Will be expected to contribute towards various practice building activities

Qualifications
Required
4 years of experience in Anaplan Implementation
Understanding of cloud-based SaaS and PaaS market offerings
Work with business users to understand business and functional requirements
Participate in workshops to demonstrate the value proposition of the solution
Advanced Excel experience including macros, pivot tables, complex charts, reports; Specifically,
the ability to translate model-building in Excel to a multi-dimensional cloud application
Anaplan platform experience for 3-4 years, particularly–
Data modeling
Data loading
Data Integration
Build application models that will package specific planning processes (e.g. Sales forecasting,
financial planning and forecasting, workforce planning, etc.)
Provide guidance to junior team members regarding technical configuration, testing processes
Basic understanding of Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting cycle
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
Must be willing to work/relocate to Lake Mary, FL; Gilbert, AZ or Mechanicsburg, PA.
Travel up to 20% annually (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred
Experience of 3-4 end to end implementations in Anaplan
Understanding clients’ financial management processes and transforming them to multidimensional technologies.
Involved in the Design, Implementation, Prototyping, Enhancements and Performance tuning ofAnaplan models
Design effectively & efficiently to cover processes & requirements into enterprise models withassociated modules, lists / line items, and calculations as supported by multi-dimensional Anaplan platform
Deep understanding of functional aspects of Financial Statements and typical planning processes
Knowledge of native reporting capabilities and integration with external reporting tools like Tableau
Experience in Agile scrum methodology
Experience in preparing deliverables such as design documents, test documentation, trainingmaterials and administration/procedural guides
Understanding and experience of software development best practices
Reviewing use cases and conceiving and executing proof-of-concept models
Knowledge in at least one RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server
Anaplan Certified Model Builder Technical certification
Ability to train internal staff of the advanced Anaplan features and leveraging App Hub
Any Third-party Reporting tool experience would be advantage such as Tableau, QlikSense,QlikView
