SUMMARY

Global Asset Technologies LLC (GAT), a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified

Alternate Project Manager

. The

Alternate Project Manager

perform support services for non-GIN tasks that exceed the organic Task Force Marshall capabilities detailed within the PWS. Support includes but is not limited to the processing, administrative functions, and any other function necessary to train USAR and United States Navy Individual Augmentees (NIACT).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are 

not

Assist the Project Manager to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

Providing onsite project oversight and leadership of quality control, safety and risk mitigation.

Ensure resource availability and allocation as needed.

Assist in managing and updating project schedule.

Perform risk management and quality control to minimize project risks.

Report and escalate to all safety and quality control issues to management as needed.

In the absence of the PM, attend, facilitate, and coordinate all required meetings and progress updates.

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications

Completion of Drill Sergeant School and/or Small Group Instructor Training Course in Active Duty or Reserve

Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of US small arms weapons systems.

Demonstrated knowledge of Army doctrine and training principles.

Demonstrated knowledge in Warrior Leader Skills Levels 1-3.

Possess a valid U.S. state driver’s license.

Be able to operate a Personal Computer with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Windows graphical user interface) and Data/web based systems required for task area performing work. Be able to troubleshoot common computer hardware & software problems.

Have a working knowledge of Army and Navy rank structure and military unit relationships (e.g., Company, Battalion, Brigade, Division, etc. and Navy equivalents).

Be able to work under stressful conditions and be physically able to demonstrate the training/support tasks to standard.

Have a working knowledge of mobilization/demobilization operations IAW FORSCOM Regulation 500-3-1 thru 500-3-5.

Must be a US Citizen.

Must be able to pass extensive background investigation and pre-employment medical testing.

Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance and pass a local security screening.

Must be able to articulate, speak, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Contractor shall maintain a high standard of dress and appearance (Business Casual).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Capable of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, rules and regulations.

Meet physical/health requirements for duties.

Must be able to follow Standard Codes of Conduct pertaining to interaction with Army and Navy Personnel.

Ability to take direction and follow instructions adequately.

Flexibility in required duties.

Self-motivated.

Must be able to handle stress and work in high pressure environments or under difficult conditions.

Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in fast paced environment

Proficient or have the ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervisory responsibilities:

Assist the project manager with 21 personnel.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
