Join our Business Development team and you will lead the development of solutions focused on putting people at the center - ensuring access to high quality healthcare for everyone we serve.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities -

Conduct identification and diligence related to new opportunities including contracts and partnerships, to include developing competitor assessments, customer profiles, shaping influence strategies, and other activities that would increase likelihood of success.

Lead capture and innovation processes, facilitating solution development with internal and external partners to design solutions that meet customer's needs. Develop business cases to gain consensus and investment to pursue opportunities.

Forecast future trends that impact existing and future business opportunities.

Analyze the financial, operational, and organizational impact of pursuing opportunities.

Provide support and guidance to pricing and proposal development functions that articulate Humana Military's value.

Work collaboratively with our executive team and key medical and operations leaders - leveraging strong research, analysis, and communication skills - to build organizational consensus in pursuit of new business

Serve as a liaison for Humana Military across Humana's other lines of business, the Military and VA health systems, and industry partners

Required Qualifications

Our Department of Defense contract requires U.S. Citizenship

4 years of program/project management experience

4 years of experience in developing business strategy, product development, Agile methodology process, and/or sales development

Experience bridging strategic vision with the tactical delivery and drive consensus accordingly

Navigating ambiguity effectively to solve problems and make decisions

Proven track record of launching an idea that required synthesis of disparate points of view/ insights/data and creating a cohesive narrative, plan and outcome

Success breaking down complex problems into hypotheses, developing clear plans for validation, and using data in order to refine concepts

Cultivating and maintaining a broad network of collaborative relationships across the enterprise, allowing quick navigation to get information, guidance, or to clear the path for new initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Experience of the military, commercial, Medicaid, and/or Medicare health markets

Work-At-Home Requirements

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
