Description
Humana's Membership & Plan Services (MPS) organization is looking for a Senior Technology Implementation Professional to join the Billing and Reconciliation team. This Senior will be the Product Owner for one of our Premium Billing applications (PBS/eBilling) who is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing product backlog. The Product Owner work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. This is a remote role, however, if you live within 50 miles of the Louisville Waterside Humana office (101 E. Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202) you may occasionally be required to work in-office for in-person collaboration once CDC restrictions are lifted.
Responsibilities
The Senior Technology Implementation Professional will:
Act as Product Owner who will maximize value of product created by the Agile team
Liaise with stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline
Serve as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making
Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas
Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed
Follow established guidelines/procedures
This specific role will maintain product owner responsibility for one application (PBS, back-end premium billing system or eBilling, front-end application) which currently includes the involvement up to 3 Scrum teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent related work experience
Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies including SAFe (Scaled Agile)
Minimum of 3 years of experience with project management or leading initiatives throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle
Experience working with back-end and front-end applications inclusive of digital modernization efforts
Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
Experience facilitating cross-functional teams' efforts
Strong communication skills with experience creating and presenting reports and presentations to senior leadership

Work-At-Home Requirements
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Preferred Qualifications
Product Owner and/or Product Manager Certification
Scaled Agile SAFe Certification
Experience with a requirement management system (preferably Azure Dev Ops)
Extensive experience writing requirements and engaging multiple business stakeholders to gather needs and drive priority over an extensive backlog of work.
Familiarity with Humana Billing Solutions (people, processes and members)
Experience in preparing post production validation plans and operational readiness plans for released functionality impacting specific user groups
