To strengthen engagement with our Channel Partner ecosystem, the Senior Manager, Partner Communities will develop and deliver unique community programs to expand and amplify Pure’s footprint with each Partner so as to align critical business growth drivers and business metrics. This active, joint participation role drives mindshare, strengthens Pure preference, develops brand ambassadors, and garners greater value from the Channel globally.

The Expectations

The Senior Manager, Partner Communities will manage the strategy & execution of (but is not limited to):

Managing Partner and Technical Advisory Council (PAC & TAC) programs to engage Partners in an elevated experience that focuses on collaboration of strategic vision and go-to-market roadmaps

Developing and executing role-based Partner initiatives that activate the Channel to drive alignment (Technical Influence Programs such as Pure WaveMakers)

Fostering a cadence of communication internally and externally so we engage more consistently with Partners to promote transparency

Responsible for the project management, communication, promotion, production and profitability of assigned events and programs, this individual must be a data-driven decision maker, confident communicator, problem-solver, and have a niche for creating an exceptional event experience.

This person will work closely with channel sales & marketing leadership, sales operations, and other key stakeholders to determine each program’s goals and objectives, aligning to Pure’s strategy and key initiatives. This role sits within our Partner Marketing team and reports to the Director of Partner Readiness. Key to this position is an understanding of the channel partner ecosystem, the role executives play in the success of these partners and the ability to manage end-to-end program details (budget, program delivery, evaluation/feedback, etc.).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

Lead the development of the partner communities and execution globally

Clearly communicate objectives, project status and updates to team members on a regular basis

Develop and manage Pure Storage Advisory programs (PAC, TAC), as well as Pure WaveMakers Technical Community Program including, but not limited to - budget, program management and delivery, council member nominations, facilitation and event logistics, evaluation surveys, communications, feedback, and final reporting.

Develop and deliver unique role-based global community programs to expand Pure’s footprint with our partners that are aligned to critical business growth drivers and business metrics.

Travel and support annual global partner meetings and events as necessary

Create a cadence of communication and amplification while working with each community group to drive alignment.

Represent partner interest in all activities - Be the voice of the channel
