Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position

The Remote Senior Cloud Security Engineer Ensure the Cyber security policies are engineered and deployed (Policy-as-a-Code) to the cloud environments and meet the compliance requirements. Automate the cloud security controls to ensure threat, vulnerabilities and risk are minimized and reduced. Ensure cross functional business process in place for cloud security control engineering and implementation with proper visibility and approvals. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Product Cloud Security Designing and managing

Provide security systems and tools management related to the cloud technologies and play a vital role in protecting DoD Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

Investigate and analyze cloud structures and enhance the security of the cloud-based environment(s)

Develop a set of security standards and practices

Manage and execute technologies and processes that affect Information Protection capability

Keep the infrastructure current, make recommendations, and participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of technologies and services

Provide guidance on security strategies, processes, response and technologies to security operations and other teams

Provide support on Incident Response on security incidents and participate in the development of business cases

Counsel other teams on information security controls

Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, engineers, and data scientists to achieve continuous improvement in cyber defense/resilience

Product Cloud Security Monitoring and Auditing

Work with Cyber Security team to provide knowledge of best practices and known issues of vulnerabilities scanning and the associated services, schedules and reporting processes

Provide support in evaluation and remediation of known vulnerabilities

Audit the cloud-based environment(s) and support Systems Security Plan.

Required Qualifications

Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position.

Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing)

Five or more years of information technical cyber security experience

Three or more years of Cloud experience

Two or more years of project management experience

Experience integrating Cyber Security technologies with existing technologies

Experience implementing Cyber Security technologies with enterprise-wide impact

Bachelor's degree, technical area preferred or technical training equivalent

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. Preferred Qualifications

CISSP or CCSP or similar certification

Healthcare related experience

Work-At-Home Requirements

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
