The Senior Clinic Emerging Markets Operations Professional (Project Management) collaborates concurrently with real estate, construction, training, human resources, clinical staff and finance. Secures needed resources, and establishes/verifies key performance indicators to ensure readiness. Leads the transition to ongoing operational processes. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Responsibilities
The Senior Clinic Emerging Markets Operations Professional collaborates concurrently with real estate, construction, training, human resources, clinical staff and finance. Secures needed resources, and establishes/verifies key performance indicators to ensure readiness. Leads the transition to ongoing operational processes. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for construction project components, and work is performed with limited direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Expectations
Partner with Workplace Solutions (WPS- internal real estate support team) to ensure project success in new clinic builds, acquisitions and other real estate transactions
Document and escalate delays to schedule, risks and issues to Associate Director and Senior Leadership
Main point of contact (POC) and subject matter expert (SME) on all construction and center design related matters
Rethink Routine: Challenge and question the current process and the Humana standard with the goal of pioneering simplicity and minimizing cost
50-60% travel to Dallas, Phoenix, Vegas and future locations across the nation
Responsibilities and Duties
Attend, actively listen and participate in all WPS, Construction, IT and Operational meetings
Attend, be engaged and present in Program Manager Leadership Update Meetings
Relationship build with WPS Senior Real Estate Construction Manager and all market WPS Project Managers
Document and maintain all concerns for each center in the CenterWell Issue Log, specific to delays in the permitting and delivery of projects
Communicate changes to CenterWell Issue Log to Associate Director in a timely manner
Coordinate travel with WPS Project Manager and Architect for site assessments, 50% site reviews and punch list
Provide reports based onsite assessments, 50% reviews and punch lists
Review leases and provide feedback back to the WPS transaction team to help support findings during site assessments
Ensure critical punch list items are worked to resolution prior to Center Setup
Conduct post site assessment reviews of each project to ensure project completion
Review conceptual design drawing set submitted for permit to ensure CenterWell standards are met
Review construction bids with WPS Project Managers and provide direction and approval
Track project budget projections against actuals
Track procurement orders
Support market in all phases of vendor and center set-ups
Document and maintain Senior Clinic Emerging Markets Operations Professional role templates and processes and store in a centralized location on Teams
Travel to complete vendor setups, center setups, punch lists, 50% walk through, site assessments and overall quality of projects
Complete miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned
Required skills and qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, design, construction and/or a health related field
Insight and experience into construction and design
Ability to present information and influence decision process
Ability to review construction documents and architectural drawings
Ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines
Ability to work independently and complete projects as assigned and in a timely manner
Excellent skills within Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Power Point
Ability to analyze data and construct processes and plans to improve outcomes
Ability to accurately summarize data for leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills (external and internal)
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
