Summary: This position reports to the Senior Director and Innovation PMO. The role has dual responsibilities as supervisor of the Springdale based PMO team as well as direct project management responsibility for assigned major innovation projects and cost savings opportunities. Demonstrated ability to lead across business units and effectively coordinate external internal and multi site resources is needed along with a proven project management track record leading and delivering large complex projects. Leadership skills working with a cross- functional team through roadblocks and issues that would impede progress are required. Strong influencing skills in presenting and driving process change is a must Essential Duties Responsibilities: Coordinate PMO resources to execute key project initiatives in support of operating and strategic plan objectives. Lead project governance efforts for Springdale based brands including project approvals prioritization and resource utilization. Help roll-up track and report out all KPI data for innovation and productivity projects. Develop hire and retain talent to execute best in class Project Management for the organization. Execute standardized Project Management guidelines for the Springdale organization consistent with PM guidelines in Chicago office. For key priority projects lead project teams through stagegate process helping to resolve any key issues or barriers. Manage gate approval process for team ensuring all deliverables are complete and project is presented accurately to leadership. Ensure all team members are all aware of key deliverables and their due dates to ensure an on-time launch. Track key project Risks and ensure any High-Likelihood High- Impact risks are raised in a timely manner to management for direction assistance. Ensure data for all key Innovation and Productivity Lean KPIs is available to management. Proactively act to make connections between teams to help resolve issues and aid communication Exercise fundamental sound project management techniques and work flow process when executing assigned projects. Build project plans using MS Project and WBS structures able to clearly outline objectives timing and risks. Communicate and align key resources at all levels of the organization on assigned projects. Act as a best in class Project Management example for the organization and subject matter expert. Help design lead and execute training for Springdale teams including project management stage gate process and governance. Act as a mentor to other parts of the Springdale organization who need project management help or information Qualifications: Bachelor degree in business engineering food science marketing or other related discipline. Formal certification in Project Management from PMI or equivalent Project Management Association a plus. 2-5 years experience as a project manager delivering large complex technical projects CPG or related industries. Proven experience and a strong background successfully completing large complex projects on-time and within budget. Experience in managing and driving change within a complex organization. Demonstrated skills in Organization and Detail management. Advanced PC skills using Microsoft Office products and MS Project able to generate graphs presentations and charts. Travel: Regular travel between Springdale and Chicago offices will be required estimated 10 of time
