PROJECT SPECIALIST II (GROW PROGRAM)
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The GROW Program Project Specialist II role manages infrastructure projects to ensure the highest level of performance and availability. Leads, partners with, and provides ongoing regional support for the GROW program, its participants, Site Leads, and core team members. The primary role of a Project Specialist II is ensure the site level GROW Programs within their region are supported and aligned as they live out the GROW Program's mission: to cultivate a space and ecosystem that Gives Real Opportunities for valuable Work experience for our direct labor team members to learn, develop, and GROW!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
*Participating in the planning, execution, and finalization of regional GROW activities according to strict deadlines, within budget, and by following organized and repeatable procedures. Ensuring global alignment with other GROW regions. *Acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver regional GROW activities (e.g. Essential Strategic Assessments, training, experiential challenges, participant selection, financial, and administrative deliverables) according to plan. *Acting as a liaison with stakeholders and effectively communicating expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. *Identifying and managing dependencies and critical path items while ensuring quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies. *Conducting post mortems and communicating lessons learned in order to identify successful and unsuccessful deliverables. *Conducting recurring site stakeholder meetings to ensure tier, site, regional, and global alignment *Monitoring and trending program metrics and developing plans to address opportunities or watchouts *Refreshing and conducting the annual Talent Essentials Strategic Assessments (ESAs), reviewing site results and action plans, monitoring progress, and holding sites accountable to action plan deliverables *Locating, creating, updating, and delivering training content. Training and coordinating trainers. Facilitating training translations. Creating and maintaining experiential challenge instructions and translations. *Support the participant application and selection process *Processing purchase orders for regional program expenses *Supporting Site Leads by:
*Scheduling meetings and classroom sessions *Creating and maintaining site Teams pages *Coordinating participant laptops *Creating and maintaining site GROW email distribution lists *Coordinating site graduation ceremonies *Creating and maintaining internal books of talent *Maintaining global GROW website *Maintaining the GROW playbook and associated tools
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
An ideal candidate for the GROW Program Project Specialist II role is someone who:
*Has a broad internal and external network that they can utilize for the benefit of Boston Scientific's GROW Program and its participants *Has the ability to identify priorities, focus, and execute *Has the ability to lead without authority - influence others locally, regionally, and globally *Is an effective communicator - written and spoken *Is customer service focused *Is detail oriented *A confident and effective trainer
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor's degree plus 2-4 years of related work experience or 4-8 years of relevant work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*1-3+ years of project coordination/project management experience. *Demonstrate strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills, with ability to navigate a fast-paced environment, develop solution driven teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a tight deadline driven environment.
