Responsibilities

The Strategy Advancement Manger role that will join our agency leadership team to help drive agency strategy to support enterprise creative excellence, increase our creative capabilities, and enhance business value to Humana.

The Strategy Advancement Manager provides oversight to the Project Management team for the agency, ensuring that best practices are developed followed and processes are consistent. They own resource management and are responsible for optimization of platforms and data. The Strategy Advancement Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial, and provides trends and insights to Senior Management to inform agency strategy and support model.

The Strategy Advancement Manager designs, communicates, and implements processes for the agency so projects and resources are planned and monitored effectively. Helps team to forecast, track performance against project plans, identify potential risks, take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Owns the Project Management software (Workfront) for the team, structuring the system to optimize use and enable data collection and reporting for the agency. Assesses and plans for agency's capacity. Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the agency's portfolio of work. Provides oversight and strategic direction for brand management platforms and assets. Collaborates cross functionally to seek integration and efficiency opportunities. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

5 years of project/process management experience

Experience managing external vendors/partners

Ability to use data/analytics to drive strategy

Able to present to senior leadership and influence change

Experience working in complex matrixed organizations

Demonstrated ability to work successfully in ambiguity

Previous advertising agency or marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications

Master's or other advanced degree

PMP Certification or equivalent

Knowledge of agile methodology

Experience with Workfront or other project management systems
