Description

The Project Manager 2 manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager 2 documents, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing the project; monitors progress and performance against the project plan; takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Gathers and documents business requirements to meet the business objectives. Organizes support teams (testing, training, policy documentation, and workforce management) to prepare for go-live readiness. Facilitate meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

Project Management experience

Experience problem solving

Facilitating cross-functional teams' efforts

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Pharmacy experience

Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall and Agile Methodologies
