ABOUT THNY CREATIVE STUDIO:

The THNY Creative Studio is a full-service, in-house integrated creative agency, supporting marketing and communications initiatives for Tommy Hilfiger, The Americas.

The Studio Team is responsible for managing all areas of photo/video production, retouching, digital and print production to deliver a coherent and consistent visually branded message across all marketing channels.  Marketing channels include, but are not limited to, direct to consumer, email marketing, point of sale, e-commerce, wholesale, social media, influencer marketing, advertising, public relations and events.

ABOUT POSITION:

Mange the seasonal planning, creative development and final production for in-store marketing projects including, but not limited to seasonal marketing signage, evergreen promotional signage and digital promotional screens.  In addition, the Associate Producer will support on imagery and video post-production needs for Retail-related imagery inclusive of seasonal POS, Commercial Campaigns and ad-hoc campaigns.  This role will be relied upon as the “go-to” person who can effectively manage the full creative workflow to ensure all projects, teams and external vendors are on track for smooth completion of projects. A strong knowledge of print production and image/video post-production will allow the Associate Producer to work with creative teams and internal/external stakeholders to find innovative, yet workable, solutions to marketing requests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage seasonal planning, creative development and final print-production of assigned Company Stores In-Store initiatives
  • Support Senior Producer on the management of seasonal Commercial Campaign and POS asset creation and image/video post-production needs. This includes vendor selection/management, price negotiation, estimate/invoice reconciliation, select reviews/approvals, proof routing and supervision of seasonal guidelines.
  • Oversee creative workflows amongst cross-functional and Studio teams including brief intake/review, project kickoff initiation, timeline creation and project management
  • Interface frequently with Marketing, Copy and Creatives to manage workflow to completion, facilitate internal and cross-functional reviews, collect feedback, execute follow-ups with various partners, manage stakeholder expectations, route copy/creative, ensure quality-control of briefed assets and resolve/escalate issues as needed
  • Prepare project specifications, request and negotiate project estimates with external vendors and reconcile invoices against agreed upon rates
  • Communication of production estimates to Marketing
  • Maintenance of imagery and video assets on creative server
  • Manage translation process for all foreign language creative versions
  • Participate in team status meetings to review current projects and set weekly priorities
  • Management of ad-hoc assignments
  • Ensure Workfront project management tool compliance across cross-functional team members
  • Works with Marketing team to establish reasonable project budgets based on project scope.
  • Bids out and negotiates projects to applicable vendors
  • Communicates cost options to Marketing teams
  • Ensures projects stay within agreed upon budgets and escalates potential budget overages to Marketing teams
  • Invoice management; reconciling vendor invoices to estimates; distributing approved invoices to the Marketing teams
  • Determines appropriate vendors to use based on project scope in partnership with Senior Producer
  • Determines appropriate creative team assignees based on expertise and workload
  • Prioritizes designer workload based on project schedules and business importance
  • Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks/projects to meet deadlines
  • Recommends and continually updates procedures to improve operational efficiency
  • Fluid environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Willing to work occasional nights and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years creative project management experience, including prior management of print production and imagery-post production
  • Workfront or other project management experience a plus
  • Creative agency experience a plus
  • Fashion retail experience a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or other related field                        
  • Project management skills with the ability to effectively plan, manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects through to completion
  • Intermediate knowledge around basic printing and finishing processes (including web, conventional offset and digital printing, mounting, die-cutting, scoring; etc).
  • Ability to accurately communicate print specifications with a basic understanding of cost implications resulting from diversion from quoted specifications.
  • Working knowledge of paper sourcing and specialty papers
  • Experience with specialty finishing techniques such as foil stamping, embossing, silk screen, engraving; etc a plus
  • Working knowledge of image/video editing processes and terminology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong professional partnerships
  • Strong interest in and aptitude for producing creative and marketing solutions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Apple Creative Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Keynote
  • Basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)
