The Business Analyst plans and performs business process and systems review analyses at a department, functional or company level.  Specifically, this Analyst will be responsible for the business processes/systems, technologies and analytics of the L&D function supporting the Endoscopy R&D customers.  This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining learning platforms, processes and other critical activities related to the ongoing management and deployment of L&D programs.  The Principal L&D Operations Analyst will strive for improving operational excellence and customer experiences.

 

JOB DUTIES:

*Build and manage a learning system that centralizes learning programs and enables a smooth learner engagement and experience with aspects of communication, enrollment, scheduling, progress tracking and/or record keeping (as needed) *Identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems and process being examined (process improvement/reengineering projects). Works with/partners with process owners to understand requirements *Evaluates internal control systems and recommends improvements in controls (control projects). Manages systems development or process improvement projects by applying basic project management methodology *Analyzes data from various sources (needs assessments, gap analysis, research, surveys, feedback, learning system analytics) to identify new program needs, improvement opportunities, and measure performance indicators such as effectiveness of learning programs and return on Investment *Creates custom reports/dashboards to demonstrate the impact of learning on business outcomes *Works with the co-sourcing partners to plan the project, draft project reports and conduct the fieldwork, which includes interviews, process flow determination, critical analysis of activities as value added/non-value added, financial analysis, system data analysis and transaction testing *Administers the project time, budgeting and reporting and coordination of team schedules *Triage and resolve issues related to business use of implemented systems or processes by working with CoEs and external partners to find acceptable solutions *Utilizes functional/company systems to improve efficiency and makes recommendations for implementation of new systems, technologies or necessary upgrades that will best meet customer and company objectives *Participates in special projects as they arise *Manages communications for key programs, information and events

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*8+ years professional experience *Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field of study *Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe business applications; Adobe digital learning solutions a plus *Working knowledge of SharePoint development, web design technologies such as HTML and JavaScript *Strong analytical skills and problem solving *Strong leadership and the willingness to work independently and as part of a collaborative team *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: can articulate thoughts and ideas (technical and non-technical) clearly, concisely, and persuasively  *Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project plans and deliver on specific timelines
