Directs and maintains business continuity effort across the Carilion Clinic system.  This is to include strategy, design, planning, procurement, development, and implementation.  Responsible for leading facilitating a comprehensive business continuity program to ensure clinical and non-clinical operations of the health system are possible following a disruption.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.

Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years leadership experience required.

Minimum of two (2) years experience in project management, preferably in a large complex environment.

Minimum of two (2) years experience in healthcare or similarly complex environment.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar credential required. Certification in project management preferred.

Other Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to build rapport and establish relationships through strong interpersonal skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of business continuity, business resilience, IT disaster recovery, and/or emergency management required.

Demonstrated knowledge of business continuity, emergency management, and the national incident management system(NIMS).

Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Must satisfactorily complete orientation processes.

Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet computer software and data analysis.OUR VALUES
