Job Title: Supply Chain Entry Level Planner
Job Description:
As a Supply Chain Entry Level Planner, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and coordination of the supply chain activities within the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, logistics, and inventory management, to ensure the timely and efficient flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain network.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation and execution of supply chain plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs.
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to meet customer orders and production schedules.
Analyze demand forecasts and sales data to generate accurate production plans and schedules.
Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods to meet customer requirements.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Utilize supply chain planning tools and software to support data analysis and forecasting activities.
Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any supply chain-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in using supply chain planning software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
Knowledge of supply chain concepts, such as demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
