SUMMARY

Work closely with executive leadership, business partners, management and staff in assessing technology needs and developing project plans for system optimization and implementation. Serve as project director for corporate systems and process improvement initiatives. Translate organizational and operational needs into system requirements and design specifications. Serve as a resource in evaluating policy and strategy for optimization of information technology tools and systems. Participate in information technology planning and governance process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify software, systems and processes improvements to support enterprise-wide improvement and efficiencies.

Develop and implement strategic initiatives and process improvements independently as well as through facilitation and coordination of project teams.

Identify opportunities and build strategic relationships across business units, teams, and departments to achieve business efficiency goals.

Develop process improvement project and communication plans.

Foster collaboration, strategic alignment, integrated planning and execution of cross-departmental projects and initiatives.

Oversee designated projects, schedules and activities needed to ensure that corporate goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed timeframes.

Set priorities and functional standards, giving direction to staff as necessary to ensure the best possible delivery of service and stakeholder satisfaction.

Identify and implement innovative solutions for workflow change and improvements at department, business unit or enterprise level.

Oversee change management of processes and systems, maintaining effectiveness when encountering unexpected complications or integration issues.

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

Required (Minimum) Qualifications and experience:

Four (4) year degree in business management, project management or information technology. 

Ten (10) years of experience in combining project management, system implementation, and information technology. Experience and/or education equivalent may be used to meet to minimum requirements.

Five (5) years of experience needs to be in dedicated project and systems management, with demonstrated experience in management of teams, assets and staffing resources.

Five (5) years of supervisory experience.

Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) optimization/utilization.

Demonstrated experience and proficiency in SharePoint architecture, design and utilization.

Demonstrated experience in software implementations across different geographic areas and business units.

Certification in continuous improvement methodology with an emphasis in Lean/Six Sigma.

Demonstrated experience in assessment and documentation of process and workflow.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher preferred in business management, information technology or related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge and proficiency in the usage of computers, especially Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from stakeholders, managers and team members.

Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and managing concurrent and competing demands.

Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage teams of peers.

Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while maintaining high delivery standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about. Some lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Management of information technology and project teams and staff as designated by the VP of Information Technology.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
