Job Description:
Provide Digital Strategy for the Catalyst, Licensing and Services business, which is comprised of global Business or customer facing teams. Identify and lead the development and implementation of new digital technology for the identified market application space in Chemicals, Refining and process technologies focused on creating differentiated solutions for the core market and growth platforms. Focus on external customer experience to create digital products that support or create value for catalyst/licensing/services. Understand market trends and the competitive landscape to identify gaps in technology for the current digital portfolio and identify technologies to help deliver solutions.
Create and manage the digital strategy map with a drive to deliver on strategic goals with focus on funnel management, project prioritization, user experience, and internal as well as external user engagement.
Align with Shell’s digital strategy/solutions to ascertain Shell digital development applicability to the Catalyst Licensing Services strategic goals to enable speed to market. Coordinate between departments to ensure a seamless user experience across all digital assets.
Manage and lead the catalyst/licensing strategy while aligning with the Marketing digital organization for identification of gaps as well as launching of new technology through the digital community. Develop business partnerships or technology collaborators to drive technology delivery. Responsible for framing and negotiating joint development or partnership agreements with potential partners or collaborators.
Monitor existing digital developments and provide recommendations for optimal user engagement, including changes to priority, design, content, structure, and functionality.
This includes analyzing managing and optimizing resources driving to top tier industry performance.
Collaborate on digital content aligned with Marketing, and Communication Strategies for new digital asset implementation and third party technology solutions.
Follow market intelligence/developments and continually evaluate potential application in the CLS business to build on differentiated solutions maintaining and growing Thought Leadership in our identified strategic initiatives. Stay abreast of new technologies and practices internal and external to Shell, evaluate and recommend new technologies as ongoing part of the digital strategy.

Requirements:
Degree level qualifications
8 years' experience in Project Management as well as digital technology a plus
Ideally in Technical background with Business acumen.
Strong knowledge of digital developments, with experience of developing and coordinating digital strategies
Proficient with feasibility study, NPV calculations and build vs buy analysis, strong understanding of how to bring value to the market
Although not an IT role, the successful candidate needs to have high skill level of digital technology knowledge
Understanding of digital analytics and how to improve decisions with the usage of data
