POSITION SUMMARY:The Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for all visual standards as well as communicating merchandising direction for Calvin Klein North America Retail locations. He or she will be communicating interior merchandising, display and marketing changes as it relates to visual presentation. He or she must reach the most effective level of product merchandising and display at all stores while maintaining the brand image.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:Participate in all aspects of the product lifecycle process with cross-functional teams to develop product placement strategies for Calvin Klein North America Retail Stores.Partner with merchant teams + planning/allocation teams to evaluate product receipts as well as in-store inventory to determine effective visual presentation methods to increase sales volume.Coordinate and collaborate on new product marketing concepts to support merchandising strategies.Attend all meetings with merchants + design to develop product placement strategies.Create all documents containing visual merchandising direction based on the buy, sales opportunities, and brand message that supports all store concepts, size and sales volume.  Continuously evolve as needed of the ever changing business environment.Develop visual merchandising ideas, and product adjustments provided by the merchants on current business, and deliver this information to the field organization weekly via the Visual Marketing Memo.Execute all set ups needed for all touchpoints within the product lifecycle process.Participate in floorset process cadence.Using mock store for all merchandising buy process meetings from the inception of a season to the floorset execution and communication to the field + stores.Create + update the visual merchandising training tools + resources.Respond to stores’ feedback sheets, field phone calls/emails, and visual questions from the field/store operations.Identify new visual merchandising techniques that support the business and strategies.Work on special projects for visual merchandising team outside of the daily scope of work.Collaborate with field visual managers + store operations team to help facilitate direction and elevating store execution.Understand current business trends to drive sales through visual merchandising.Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines.Detail oriented/innovative traits necessary. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Experience: 5+ years’ prior product visual merchandising experience or project management experience        Education: Bachelor’s Degree in graphic/interior/fashion design or visual merchandising preferred.Skills:    Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.Ability to problem solve and develop creative solutions.PC Skills, including MS Office, MS Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite.Exemplary written + verbal communication skills.Interest and awareness of fashion trends and the retail environment.INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS:           Internal: Sr. Management, Merchants, Planning, Allocation Teams.  Store Operations, Field/Store Teams. External: External vendors if applicableSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct: Visual Merchandisers, if applicableBUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Personal monthly travel budget for store visits + store projects.RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY: Must be able to creatively concept + execute new merchandising + display strategies based on constantly changing sales + business, while taking into account stores of various sizes, sales volumes, and fixture types.Create and foster strong cross-functional partnerships within the organization.Ability to influence, drive process and change.Detail oriented/innovative traits necessary. DECISION MAKING:Work with agility and speed to find time-sensitive solutions.Must be able to make calculated decisions on quick notice, adjusting strategies based on weekly sales + collaboration with Merchant + Planning/Allocation Teams.Will be fully responsible for visual communication stream + decision-making, as well as flow of the communication from NYO to Stores + Field Teams.ENVIRONMENT: Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly deadline-driven creative environment.Own multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines. Travel required.Lifting required.                                    Strong work ethic.
