Join us.This is an excellent opportunity for you to join\u202FNBBJ in our Seattle 41 Studio, our Corporate/Commercial Practice, as a\u202FProject Manager.\u00A0We are seeking a\u202FProject Manager who can work independently and collaboratively with a team to manage large, complex\u202FCommercial\u202Fprojects and\u202Flead work efforts of others, oversee the production of project deliverables, and interpret client needs.\u202FThe successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the motivation to engage with the array of NBBJ\u2019s resources in achieving high-performance, sustainable outcomes.\u00A0In your new role, you will:\u00A0Manage team complexity \u2013 plans, organizes, and supervises the work of a design staff of approximately 5 to 10 individuals\u00A0Responsible for accuracy and applicability of documents for entire project(s)\u00A0Build and maintain day-to-day working relationship with client(s) and consultants\u00A0Lead decision making process with fiscal accountability and responsibility\u00A0Develop and execute a management work plan for the overall project(s)\u00A0Assist with proposal preparation and participates in client presentations/interviews\u00A0Responsible for all correspondence, reports, documentation, and general administration for the overall project(s)\u00A0Responsible for execution of project within the boundaries of the design intent\u00A0Apply sound and diversified knowledge of architectural principals for all aspects of the project(s)\u00A0Make independent decisions on architectural problems and methods\u00A0Solve problems creatively with consultants\u00A0Negotiate and draft/write contracts\u00A0Assist with business development and collaborate with other studios, as needed\u00A0Develop and leverage existing client relationship for the purposes of wining work.\u00A0Assist Practice Leader in developing market or client campaigns and interview to win new work.\u00A0What you will need to succeed:\u00A010-20 years of professional experience in Architecture\u00A0Experience with large, complex commercial projects\u00A0Bachelor's degree; B Arch or M Arch desired\u00A0Architectural licensure desired\u00A0LEED Accreditation\u202For within 18 months of hire\u00A0Must have a proven track record as a Project Manager with large, complex projects involving work that ranges from Pre-design through Construction Administration, including contract negotiation, work plan development and the ability to work with a variety of project delivery methodologies\u00A0Excellent leadership, verbal and communication skills, and effective client relationship skills and talent for leading and working with diverse teams of designers\u00A0Revit & 3D modeling skills desired (not required as a proficiency)\u00A0Proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools (excel, MS project, etc.)\u00A0\u00A0Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,\u202FSketchup, Rhino or 3DS Max desired\u00A0Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines\u00A0Ability to work in a collaborative, design focused open environment\u00A0Ability to travel as the project(s) requires\u00A0The annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $95,000 and $120,000. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
