You should apply for a 4-years bachelor's degree course, as most of the employers make sure that the candidate has one for the telecom project manager jobs. Major in electrical or computer engineering will be an additional benefit for you. So, try to get a master's degree in management or engineering because a general business degree will not be sufficient.

If you are just starting your career, you can accept even junior project manager jobs so that you gain experience working under a skilled person. Try to get your education into work experience so that if your degree is not of higher level, your experience will work for you and you may get a telecom project manager job after few years of experience. Try to evaluate by discussing your management style with your senior so that you can get rid of the ineffective methods of communication that persists in your team. But make sure your proposal is supported by concrete examples and results.

Try and participate in the certification program organized by Telecommunications Project Management Association so that your employer finds you as the most suitable and strong candidate for the next project manager job. You should understand the key points so that you give in your best and come up with what is expected from you as a telecom project manager. During the project work, try to communicate with every level and be ready for the updates. You should be able to organize, workout and complete the entire project successfully and become an expert in the company.
